Lloyds Loyalty Premier
To qualify
The customer, or at least 1 applicant on a joint application, must hold a Lloyds Premier current account.
For purchase and remortgage applications only, at least 1 applicant must also have a minimum income of £100,000. This does not need to be the applicant who holds the Lloyds Premier current account.
Income threshold is calculated as follows:
- employed applicants: basic salary plus bonus, overtime and commission (excluding any other income sources)
- self-employed applicants: latest year's income.
How to apply
On purchase or remortgage applications
- Complete the new fields on the Loan screen with the customer's Lloyds Premier account sort code and account number.
- If these details are not entered, or the income requirement is not met, an application on a Lloyds Loyalty Premier product cannot be submitted.
- Obtain evidence that the customer holds a Lloyds Premier current account and retain it on file (for example, a Lloyds Premier current account statement). This should not be uploaded with the application, but we may subsequently request a copy of the evidence retained.
On product transfer and further advance applications
- The minimum income requirement does not apply.
- Lloyds Loyalty Premier products will automatically be available for selection when the customer holds a Lloyds Premier current account.
- Where a new Lloyds Premier current account has been opened, it can take up to a maximum of 5 working days for these products to become available within the Halifax portal.
Further information
- Customers who qualify can select the Lloyds Loyalty Premier products regardless of the mortgage loan size.
- These products are not linked to our Halifax Premier large loan team and are not restricted to large borrowing amounts.
- Applications will be processed through the appropriate route based on the loan amount. For example, only purchase and remortgage applications with loan amounts of £500,000 or above will be managed by the Premier team.
- Applicants can open a Premier account to take advantage of the products if they meet the qualifying criteria.
