Now that you've registered to place business, our online services offer you a fast and easy way to process your clients mortgage, product transfer, further advance and insurance applications.

Mortgage applications

Once your account has been activated to place mortgage business, simply log in.

Submit your application at

Once you submitted your clients mortgage application you will receive a message under Next Steps advising you what documentation will be required.

You should send us the required documentation using our Online Document upload Service.

You will receive an email alert to confirm that the documents have been successfully received.

Once you've uploaded all documents, you should then contact our dedicated business case handling team on 0345 030 6253 to progress your application or for applications of £500,000 and over you will be contacted by a Halifax Premier Case Manager.

Our tracker rate mortgages are linked to Bank of England bank rate (also known as Bank of England repo rate). Details of this rate can be found on the Bank of England website at
