The Halifax brand has announced that it will change to Lloyds. In 2027, the Halifax Intermediaries brand will become Lloyds Intermediaries.
Following the brand change to Lloyds Intermediaries, you will be able to submit new mortgage applications for clients in the same way you do today via Halifax Intermediaries. You will also be able to submit product transfers, further advances, and porting applications for your existing Halifax clients via Lloyds Intermediaries.
There is no action for you or your clients to take as a result of this announcement.

The BM Solutions brand will continue to trade under the BM Solutions name. While the Halifax Intermediaries brand will transition to Lloyds Intermediaries from 2027, BM Solutions will join this wider Lloyds intermediary portfolio at a later stage. Until then, it remains business as usual.

There are no changes to the Scottish Widows brand as a result of this announcement.

All in-flight Halifax applications, including DIPs will progress as normal.

Following the brand change from Halifax to Lloyds, new and existing mortgage customers will have the same options available to them as they do today, including porting, product transfers and further advances. You will be able to submit and manage applications on behalf of your clients using Lloyds Intermediaries in place of Halifax Intermediaries.

We are launching a new Loyalty Premier product which offers a discounted mortgage rate to your clients that hold a Lloyds Premier current account. This offers you a new way to deliver meaningful value and deepen long-term relationships with clients.

Nothing will change until the launch of Lloyds Intermediaries in 2027, at which point new business Halifax mortgage products will be replaced with Lloyds mortgage products on third party mortgage sourcing systems.

No, there are no changes to procuration fees as a result of this announcement.

All existing Halifax customers, including those introduced by brokers, will receive a group communication notifying them that Halifax will be rebranding to Lloyds. The communication will include a link to FAQs to help support them.
Mortgage customers at Full Offer who have not yet completed, will receive an SMS to reassure them there is no impact to their application, and will signpost them to either their broker or the customer website for further support. The SMS will be sent to customers who we hold a valid mobile phone number for on the application.
