New mortgage applications

Please note, for any new business enquiries or criteria questions please use the Criteria search functionality or Webchat facility, or contact your Business Development Manager. Please do not call the number below as they will be unable to assist with these enquiries.

For updates on applications submitted please refer to the Application Dashboard case tracking system within Halifax Intermediaries Online, together with all email updates. Please do not call until you have completed those checks.

To provide us with additional information on an application, or where you do still need to talk to us on the status of a case please call 0345 030 6253 (available Mon - Fri 8am till 6pm).

Please select the correct phone options to ensure calls are directed correctly; the options can only be selected once each message has been listened to in full. As an Intermediary you will need to select option '1' initially and there are then two further options '1' for house purchase or re-mortgage cases and '2' for Product Transfers or Further Advances. A further menu on each allows you to select in more detail the nature of the call.

Product transfer

To provide us with additional information on an application, or where you do still need to talk to us on the status of a case please call 0345 901 3161 (Available Mon - Fri 8am till 6pm) and select option 1 in the initial menu. This will then take you to a further menu which allows you to select in more detail what type of enquiry you have.

Alternatively, if you require assistance when keying a product transfer online please contact the Intermediary Service Support Desk, available Mon - Fri 9am till 5pm (Wed 9.30am - 5pm) on 0345 608 0038, followed by option 5.

Intermediary service support

For queries with registering or using Halifax Intermediaries Online, broker panel and mortgage procuration fees.

Call 0345 608 0038 and select one of the options below:

  • Option 1 – If you do not remember your User ID or email address; your online account is locked or you require a password reset please select the ‘Forgotten password’ link from the Sign on screen on Halifax Intermediaries Online.
  • Option 2 – If you are experiencing a problem or require support while keying a mortgage application.
  • Option 3 – If your business details have changed, you require support in registering with us or wish to discuss our privacy notice.
  • Option 4 – If you have a query regarding procuration fees.
  • Option 5 – If you are experiencing technical problems or require support in keying a Product Transfer.

If you are waiting for a one time password following registration, you will need to contact your Business Development Manager.
