Q1. How do I register to do business?

A. If your company is already register on our panel you can register for an individual user Id, simply click here to register and then order your Intermediaries online CD using our CD request form

If your company has not previously registered on our panel, simply click here to complete our online panel registration form

Q2. My FSA number and Postcode are not recognised on the user registration screen, what should I do?

A. To register online you are required to enter a FSA number and Post Code which matches that recorded when your panel details were created, to confirm these details please contact Intermediary Sales support on 0845 6080038

Alternatively if you have not registered with us previously, please see question 1.

Q3. Which FSA number should I use when I register for an individual user Id?

A. You will be required to enter your Companies FSA Number and your Office address

Q5. How do I Install the latest updates?

A. Please follow the instructions below to upgrade to the latest version of Intermediaries Online.

  1. Step1 - Visit www.halifax-intermediariesonline.co.uk and sign in
  2. Step 2 - Click on the online mortgages tab, and then select the option for software upgrades.
  3. Step 3 - Ensure that you have closed the Intermediary Mortgage Application.
  4. Step 4 - Click on the hyperlink provided which will be named 'Latest release'
  5. Step 5 - If you receive a secure connection security alert, click the Yes button to continue.
  6. Step 6 - Select "Open this file from its current location." and then select the Ok button.

Q6. Do I need a CD for each Brand of Intermediaries online?

A. No, All three Brands are held on one CD. Click here to order your Intermediaries Online CD

A. Providing you have one of the Microsoft operating Systems installed intermediaries online should work Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista.

A. HBOS doesn't support Intermediaries online via the Apple Mac operating system.

Q10. How can I monitor the progress of cases I have submitted?

A.

  1. Step1 - Visit www.halifax-intermediariesonline.co.uk and sign in
  2. Step 2 - Click on the online mortgages tab, and then select the option for case tracking
  3. Step 3 - Search for your customer record using the filters provided
