Fees and charges
We charge certain fees in connection with mortgages. These are set out below and, unless we state otherwise, can change from time to time. We will send your clients information about these fees each year (except where there have been no changes and no new fees introduced). We will also notify your clients of any changes in fees at the time when they ask for or receive the service for which we charge the fee. Further details of the fees we charge can be found on our website at www.halifax.co.uk/mortgages
An asterisk* indicates fees that are not applicable if your clients were charged a mortgage account fee on completion of your mortgage, or if we have not charged the mortgage account fee because of the product(s) they chose. If we charged a mortgage account fee we will have told your clients in their mortgage offer. This fee covers the setting up, routine maintenance and closing down of the mortgage account.

The amount of the fee, if applicable, will also be shown in your annual mortgage statement and in any amount owing statement we issue. We will also tell your clients the amount of the fee at any time you ask us to.
