Mortgage Application

Step 1 - register to join our panel

Once we have all the necessary information to enable us to process your panel registration, we will email you to confirm that your account will be available to use within 48 hours.

Step 2 - register online to place business

Complete our online registration form - remember to take a note of your User ID. You'll need your User ID to complete your account activation.

Step 3 - activate your account.

We'll send an email confirming your authorisation and 'one time only' password. You'll need these to activate your account.

Step 4 - place a case

Log in to our online application system to place a case.

Step 5 - track the progress of your case

Log in to intermediaries online to track your case

Product transfer, further advance only

If you've not already registered follow step 1-3 above.

Step 1 - order your online CD

Order your online CD to get access to the electronic trading platform where you place product transfer and further advance business with Halifax Intermediaries.

Step 2 - install your online CD

Install your online CD on your PC or laptop.

Step 3 - place a case

Double-click the Halifax icon on your desktop. You'll then be able to send your application, key facts illustration or mortgage promise.

Step 4 - track the progress of your case

Log in to intermediaries online to track your case

Our tracker rate mortgages are linked to Bank of England bank rate (also known as Bank of England repo rate). Details of this rate can be found on the Bank of England website at www.bankofengland.co.uk or in the Financial Times or other leading newspapers.
