New Build HomeBuy - England ONLY
This is a Shared Ownership scheme launched by the Government in April 2006, aimed at key workers, existing social housing tenants and those in priority housing need in England. The schemes are run by Registered Social Landlord (usually a Housing Association) or private developers with Housing Corporation backing.
A HomeBuy Agent (usually a Housing Association) will approve the applicant's eligibility for the scheme and you can then proceed with the mortgage application - applications should be processed in line with existing Shared Ownership scheme procedures.
Note – you should refer any further advance applications to your local processing centre quoting the 'exclusion code' and we will be able to process the application on your behalf.
